Today we’re going to be talking about using desire. The question is, have you thought about what your dreams are for your life. Have you written them down?
Do you know what you want in your relationships? Your career? Finances? Your health?
These questions aren’t just necessary, they are the basics of how we survive in our society.
Are You Living on Purpose or By Default?
Do you have the job you want or do you have a job because it’s the one that you could get?
Is your health something you have created or is it something that’s happened to you?
Have you looked at the reasons your life looks like it does to see if they are accurate? My guess is that a lot of them are not.
Write down what you want your life to look like. Break it down into the different parts.
When you write down what you want in your life you’re signaling the Universe that you want something different.
“But what if I have no idea how to get from where I am to where I want to be?”
It’s Okay Not To Know
Once you can see the end result, there are powers in the Universe greater than you that are working on your behalf.
When you actually decide what you want, see your dreams as possible, that is what gets you moving in a new direction. You may not know exactly how to get to the end result but you will have an idea of what your first step needs to be.
You are never going to get to your dreams based on where you are today.
It’s all about moving in a new direction. It’s about asking new questions.
When you take what you think is the first right step in a new direction, that will free you up to start asking new questions.
Maybe that means bringing in a mentor to help you.
There Is Nothing Wrong With Asking For Help
Look for the people that are living the dream that you want and ask questions. Seek out people that will help you ask the right questions to move in the direction of your dreams.
Just because you can see the big picture of your dreams and goals doesn’t necessarily mean that you know the best way to get there today. But what you CAN do today is ask for help. TODAY you can look for people that have the expertise in the area that you want to move towards.
There is no shame in asking for help. You do not have to do everything by yourself to be a success or fulfill your dreams.
Having a mentor or asking for help will open up new questions that you may need to ask. It may expand your thinking into something bigger and broader than you ever could have imagined on your own.
I invite you today to write down what it is that you truly want, that you truly desire. And then ask yourself, “What are you willing to do to take that to the next level?”
