I want to continue talking about how to build self confidence when you’re feeling hopeless. Henry Ford once said, “If you think can or you think you can’t, you’re right.”
Developing our self confidence is our belief in ourselves. When you use “I am” statements that I discussed in last week’s blog post you’re inviting in that God-like vibration to come in and help you move in that direction.
We do have times that we are in fear, despair, things are coming at us from all directions and we just feel flattened and don’t know how to get back up. That is when you go back to believing in yourself and who you are by using the “I am” statements.
There was a time in my life that was the most horrific because I actually felt hopeless. That was the worst feeling and I would not wish it on anyone. I felt like I was alone and abandoned. I didn’t know which way was coming or going. Every time I turned around I felt like I was getting hit by another 2×4. It was almost to the point of why should I even get up it was so painful.
I had friends at the time were watching me and reminding me of who I really was.
They kept telling that I was bigger than this and that I could get myself out. I couldn’t see that because I could only see the darkness I was in. Fortunately, I trusted them enough that I could get out of it.
I had enough proof in my life that I could get out. I just had to dig a little deeper. So I went back to my “I am” statements. I am worthy. I am lovable. I am deserving. God doesn’t make junk.
Maybe this is just part of the journey to get to this magnificent place I see in my mind.
At this point, I thought I was going to be living in my car. I didn’t have a job. I didn’t know how I was going to pay my rent, utilities, all of it.
The most amazing thing is that by the end of the year – within 8 months – I was making more money than I had ever made in my life. And all I did was believe that I was worthy and deserving. I said it to myself over and over every single day.
What this did is it brought my vibration higher. That brought on more and more self confidence. I kept moving further in that direction. It was almost like the world opened out of nowhere.
All this started pouring in because I absolutely believed in myself.
That is one way to build confidence. You have to stay in a state of a higher vibration. Even if you don’t believe it and what you’re seeing in your head doesn’t match your reality, it doesn’t matter because it’s all temporary.
So I highly recommend that when you are in a place where you can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel is to keep believing in yourself. Because you are worthy and you are deserving.
You’re the one that created it and you’re the one that can get out of it.
Just believe in that. We’ve all been there. Whether we share it or not, we’ve all been there. I truly believe that we can have whatever we want in our life.
