The Universal law of giving and receiving. We are all really good about giving consequently we forget to receive. If we don’t learn to receive, we never will. I learned that at 18 years old. I was having lunch with a couple of friends. The man picked up the tab. My girlfriend and I were very insistent on paying our way. In a very kind but firm way, he told us that if someone is offering to do something nice, you say thank you. Needless to say, we said thank you.
When I remember the situation, maybe we gave him something he desperately needed like being accepted and loved. He returned the gift by buying lunch.
Because we never know what is really going on inside anyone unless they tell us; sometimes a simple act of kindness makes all the difference in the world to someone. If we pay attention in our world, maybe we are in the right place at the right time to help someone in need. We may never know unless someone tells us at a later time. That brings us back to our forward movement to spiritual evolution.
Consequently, the more you grow on your spiritual path, the humbler you become. There is a force greater than yourself out there. You are in situations to grow. Believe it or not, they are perfect. It is in the reflection that you see clearly.
I have a case in point and it strictly is through observation. I have a face book friend and I don’t think I know her per se. However, she vanished and then returned. She told her story of her disappearance. It had to do with a cheating husband and all the things he did to her.
I read the story and realized how angry she was. Aside from the victim mentality, the underlying current was that she was an “enlightened spiritual being and how could this happen to me?” In my mind, Ray Charles could see it. She was so impressed with herself and her abilities that she thought she was above those situations. I was inclined to write and tell her my observation and welcome her to true spirituality. I chose to keep my mouth shut.
Neither God nor the Universe is out to get you. It actually is conspiring on your behalf to give you the life you want. It comes down to what are you thinking – subconsciously – unconsciously. In order to have all that you want in life, be very clear in your thinking. The Universe is giving you what you ask for even if you don’t think it is. Look deep inside and find those paradigms and remove them.
